Canvas
Saint Francis University uses the Canvas Learning Management System. Instructors use Canvas to teach online courses and share materials, collect assignments, and administer quizzes for face-to-face courses.
Instructors and students can access Canvas from the my.francis.edu page or with the direct web address https://saintfrancis.instructure.com/. The username and password for Canvas is the same as my.francis.edu.
Once in Canvas instructors will have access to tutorials located in the Canvas Camp course and students will have access to the Canvas Student Orientation Course. Additional training can be found in Canvas under Help > Search the Canvas Guides.

Respondus
Respondus has two products:
- Respondus Test Generator 4.0 - This tool is the middle man for converting tests from Word documents to electronic format for Canvas.
- Respondus Lockdown Browser - This is a custom browser that locks down the testing environment when students take a test in Cnavas. It prevents students from printing, copying, going to other websites, or accessings other applications. There is an additional add-on feature to use Monitor to record students with a web camera to create an online proctoring environment. This is often used with online classes. Please contact the CETL if you wish to use Respondus Monitor.
